Terms and Conditions for uswm.org, payments.uswm.org, uswatermaster.org, payments.uswatermaster.org, and troa.net. These sites are operated by the U.S. District Court Water Master`s Office (USWM).

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our websites. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, you may not use our services.

1.    Services Provided: The USWM provides payment processing services for water right holders who receive an annual assessment for water rights on the Carson and Truckee Rivers. We reserve the right to change or discontinue any of our services at any time without notice.

2.    Payment Terms Payment for your USWM annual assessment is due on or before the due date specified on your bill. Late payments may be subject to additional fees and penalties. We accept various forms of payment, including but not limited to credit cards, debit cards, electronic funds transfers, and checks. Online payments are provided as a service to the water right holders receiving and annual assessment. System outages site errors, problems with our third-party payment processing provider or issues with your payment method do not relieve you of your obligation to pay. Please contact us immediately if there are issues processing your payment.

3.    Billing and Invoicing We will provide you with an annual assessment for your Truckee or Carson surface water rights. You are responsible for reviewing your assessment and notifying us of any errors or discrepancies. Failure to do so will be deemed acceptance of the charges.

4.    Payments: Payments received are applied first to any outstanding prior balance, then to your current annual assessment amount, then as a credit to your account.

5.    Interruption of Service We reserve the right to interrupt or terminate our services for any reason, including but not limited to non-payment of bills or invoices, breach of these terms and conditions, or emergency situations. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you prior to any interruption or termination of service.

6.    Liability and Indemnification We are not responsible for any damages, injuries, or losses resulting from your use of our services, including but not limited to interruptions or outages. You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your use of our services.

7.    Termination Either party may terminate this agreement at any time for any reason. Upon termination, you must immediately cease using our services and pay any outstanding balances.

8.    Governing Law and Jurisdiction These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the state of Nevada. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these terms and conditions shall be brought in the courts of the state of Nevada.

9.    Changes to Terms and Conditions We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time without notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website.

10. Entire Agreement These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and the USWM office with respect to your use of our services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
